Grey Matters

We are very proud to announce that Pow Wow has been contracted by The Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD) to undertake the Grey Matters Project, through the Victoriaworks initiative.
This project is designed to assist employers in the community services sector to overcome skills and labour shortages by employing mature age job seekers and recently retrenched workers over the age of 45 within the sector.
This project will provide real opportunities for employers to re-engage highly experienced staff within their business.
Features of the Project include:

Nationally accredited training for all participants. (4 core units of Cert III Community Services)

Work trials (approx 15 hours) - at no cost to the Employer.

All participants covered by insurance for work trial periods.

Personal support for participants during training and work trials.

Option for employers to employ motivated workers.

Creation of a pool of confident and knowledgeable future employees.
