ERTIFICATE III IN AGED CARE

This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. This certificate course provides you with a holistic approach to caring for the Older People within our community. This course is designed to equip you to provide physical and social support to elderly individuals and people with a psychological disability in hostels, group homes and community settings.

Course Content/Structure

There are 13 units of competency which make up a Certificate III in Aged Care Work. Competency is required in all 13 units. There are 9 compulsory units and 4 electives to achieve this qualification.

Skills Recognition - Exemptions/Transfers

Students may be eligible for exemptions/transfers on the basis of previous qualifications.

Participants successfully completing this course may apply for entry into CHC40102 - Certificate IV in Aged Care Work, Certificate IV in Health (Nursing), or Bachelor of Nursing.

Qualification
